Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking a Scrum Master for one of our key clients.
Candidates MUST have the following:
- Security clearance at the Reliability level;
- 8+ years of experience;
- Demonstrated Experience:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) across multidisciplinary teams delivering case management and benefits modernization capabilities – Remove impediments related to legacy system dependencies, policy constraints, and inter-team coordination;
- Partner closely with Product Owners, Business SMEs and Policy teams to ensure user stories reflect program intent and operational realities; and
- Drive backlog refinement to ensure readiness of features.
- Delivery and Coordination:
- Coordinate across multiple workstreams including Case Management, Data and Integration, and Integrity / Fraud (ISB);
- Manage dependencies across teams, vendors, and external stakeholders (including business units) to support incremental release delivery;
- Support release planning, ensuring features are sequenced effectively for progressive rollout and minimal disruption to live operations; and
- Track delivery using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, release readiness) and provide transparent reporting to program leadership.
- Governance and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Support preparation of materials for steering committees, program reviews, and executive updates;
- Ensure adherence to government standards, audit requirements, and documentation expectations without slowing delivery;
- Work with Data and Integration teams to ensure data readiness, migration planning, and integrity controls are incorporated into delivery cycles; and
- Coordinate with ISB (Integrity Services Branch) to embed fraud detection, controls, and case management workflows into sprint deliverables.
