Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking Network Architect Expertise, for one of our key government clients. The Network Architect will design and optimize secure, high-performance network infrastructures that support our growing business and cloud transformation initiatives. You’ll lead the strategy for modernizing network environments, integrating hybrid cloud connectivity, and ensuring seamless, secure communication across global operations.
Candidate MUST have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred);
- Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, Juniper JNCIE, AWS/Azure/GCP Networking Speciality, or equivalent;
- Additional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus;
- Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise networks;
- Expertise with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers;
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), and network virtualization;
- Understanding of network security protocols and zero-trust architectures;
- Integrate advanced security solutions such as Zscaler and Palo Alto Networks into network designs;
- Define network security frameworks, segmentation strategies, and compliance standards;
- Ability to lead cross-functional network projects from concept to delivery; and
- Satellite experience is a plus.
Candidate should have the following demonstrated experience:
- Design enterprise network architectures for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments;
- Lead network modernization, including SD-WAN, cloud interconnects, and edge solutions;
- Define network security frameworks, segmentation strategies, and compliance standards;
- Oversee migration of legacy network systems to next-generation platforms; and
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure performance and resilience.
