Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking an Agile Reporting Specialist, for one of our key clients. The Agile Reporting Specialist will be a key member of a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining program-level reporting. This role will ensure that leadership, product owners, and delivery teams have access to accurate, timely, and actionable insights that support decision-making and transparency.
Candidate MUST have the following:
- A valid security clearance at the level of Reliability Clearance;
- Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, ADO, Power Automate).
- Power BI semantic models and visualization design are key;
- Expert-level DAX for creation of measures and calculated tables;
- Strong Power Query experience, including working with REST APIs, Azure DevOps (ADO) Analytical Views, and managing complex data transformations;
- Experience building and maintaining complex reporting visuals and dashboards that support analytical decision-making;
- Ability to work in environments where a full semantic model may not always be defined prior to visualization design, requiring strong problem-solving and iterative development skills;
- Strong understanding of Agile practices and metrics (e.g., velocity, throughput, predictability, delivery progress);
- Ability to translate complex data into clear and meaningful insights for multiple audiences;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities; and
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across leadership and delivery teams.
Candidate should have the following demonstrated experience:
- Collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and align objectives;
- Designing and developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate progress, risks, and outcomes;
- Working in a fast-paced reporting environment that does not always follow traditional SDLC practices, requiring the ability to iteratively develop reporting solutions as data and requirements evolve;
- Taking ownership of reporting requests ranging from simple to complex, developing solutions end-to-end from data sourcing and transformation through to final visualization;
- Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting solutions;
- Maintaining and enhancing reporting solutions as tools, processes, and business needs evolve;
- Establishing and following reporting standards, templates, and governance practices;
- Supporting continuous improvement by gathering stakeholder feedback and iterating on reporting solutions;
- Partnering with technical teams to integrate data sources and optimize data pipelines for reporting; and
- Gathering and refining reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
