Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer, for one of our key government clients.
Candidate MUST have the following:
- Installing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange 2010 /2016 and Office 365 in the Government;
- Working in a team environment as well as work on individual tasks;
- Excellent writing and documentation skills; and
- High level of organizational skills.
Candidate should have the following demonstrated experience:
- Installing, administering, maintaining, and monitoring Microsoft Exchange 2010 /2016 and Office 365 of the Client’s production environment;
- Escalation point for Microsoft Exchange 2010 /2016 and Office 365’s issue;
- Configuring and maintaining Microsoft Azure sync;
- Providing mentoring and Tier 3 support to Tier 1-2 technicians, Regional Technicians, and a variety of end user departments specifically in support of these Client production applications and programs;
- Providing communities with phone or remote support using administration tools provided by the Client;
- Possibility of travelling to communities outside of Iqaluit;
- Communicating with third party vendors and developers of applications, programs and databases used by the Client;
- Creating technical documentations and editing and testing vendor provided documentation;
- Providing expertise on identified internal IM/IT projects and other Client informatics projects relating to the Client IT infrastructure;
- Contributing to the postmortem analysis following any assigned project completion;
- Troubleshooting user connection issues, monitoring disk space, monitoring server and database performance, backup and restore schedules, creating accounts related to databases and applications; and
- Providing recommendations to improve and enhance the Client network environment both technically and procedurally.
