Donna Cona Supports National Day of Action
Donna Cona joins the AFN in promoting a peaceful and educational National Day of Action on June 29th, 2007. Peace, unity, respect, dignity and fairness are the core values of the National Day of Action. This day has been designated by First Nation Leaders across Canada as a call to all Canadians to stand together in the spirit of unity and support of a renewed relationship, to secure a better future for First Nation children.
Donna Cona stands firmly with the AFN in the belief that it is only by showing Canada that First Nations peoples are important for its history and current and future prosperity, that we can move forward for the betterment of all our peoples.
