Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking Senior Project Management Expertise, in the area of Project Management specifically related to Motor Vehicle Information Systems. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to speak to technical-level staff and translate necessary information to non-technical stakeholders, excellent project management skills, with demonstrated track record, utilizes project management software tools such as MS Project or Primavera to effectively manage, monitor and control project activities, strong documentation skills with the ability to articulate content efficiently when required, ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate between business requirements and technical design and implementation, business application life cycle management, system development life cycle management, budget planning and management, working knowledge of applications being implemented, working knowledge of the Request for Proposal (RFP) procurement process, problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills to influence management as well as internal and external partners, demonstrated leadership abilities; effective in matrix management and team building, works well with others in an integrated team environment, is self-motivated and a problem solver, experienced in facilitation and negotiating and is intercultural competent.

  • Solid understanding of information systems including mainframe, middleware, UNIX/WINTEL server, desktop, software, applications, information protection, storage, web and emerging technologies;
  • The ability to adapt and deal with situations and manage everyone’s expectations through ongoing changes on the project as they occur;
  • Have clear oral, written, nonverbal and effective interpersonal communication skills appropriate to all levels of management and clients;
  • Understanding of contract procedures;
  • Ability to earn trust and respect from project’s stakeholders;
  • Well balanced understanding of business relationships, business requirements, IT requirements and technical solutions;
  • Experience in the effective utilization of team members to complement and support each other; and
  • Knowledge and experience in using MS Project and applications that help carry out day-to-day project tasks; including but not limited to MS Office suite.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overall planning, scheduling and assignment of project tasks associated with the project;
  • Assembling and leading a Project Team that may consist of internal department members, client department members and third party vendors;
  • Work closely with resource managers to set clear expectations and roles for project team members
  • Ensure the delivery of information technology projects meeting scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives;
  • Contract management;
  • Change management;
  • Delivering Quality and Satisfaction through constant communication with project stakeholders;
  • Manage project Issues and Risk;
  • Manage day to day project tasks for implementing products and services from initiation through to handoff to operational support;
  • Working with vendors to coordinate deliverables, scheduling testing, managing troubleshooting and validating billing;
  • Reviewing status of deliverables and recommending approval of the deliverables;
  • Liaison with third party vendors and developers of applications and programs used on a project; and
  • Developing project work performance data and reports for distribution to all stakeholders.
