Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking Senior Business Analyst Expertise with Product Sales System background. The candidate should possess strong experience in determining problems, identifying business needs and recommending viable solutions, along with the ability to elicit, document and manage stakeholder requirements in other to meet project objectives. The successful candidate should possess the ability to prepare business cases, including cost benefit analysis for proposed solutions, be experienced in business process documentation, re-engineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis, be able to work well within a team, as well as have oral and written communication skills appropriate to all levels of management and clients.

This position will work remotely with travel to Nunavut as and when required.

The successful candidates MUST have the following Required Competencies:

  • Understanding of national and jurisdiction initiatives related to petroleum products, in particular petroleum sales data capture information management systems;
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant progressive experience in business analysis for product sales systems
  • Ability to conduct needs assessments to analyze current business problems or opportunities of an organization;
  • Ability to recommend actions to address business needs and prepare business cases including cost benefit analysis for proposed solutions;
  • Experienced in creating business analysis plans and planning business analysis work;
  • Experienced in requirements elicitation and analysis;
  • Understanding of business modeling concepts, and ability to utilize, UML notations;
  • Understanding of change management as it relates to business analysis and managing change to requirements;
  • Have clear oral, written, nonverbal and effective interpersonal communication skills appropriate to all levels of management and clients;
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary and multicultural team;
  • Strong analytical skills, and solid experience in writing functional and nonfunctional specifications;
  • Well balanced understanding of business relationships, business requirements, IT requirements and technical solutions;
  • Experience/understanding of business process documentation, re-engineering, business systems development and analysis;
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities;
  • Knowledge of petroleum information and data standards used in the petroleum industry; and
  • Experience in the use of applications that help carry out day-to-day project tasks; including but not limited to MS Office suite (0365/Teams/SharePoint).


  • Perform high level and detailed assessment on proposals and concepts for new Petroleum Product Sales Management System;
  • Analyze business processes and review existing information systems;
  • Elicit and document business and stakeholder requirements that foster the realization of business objectives;
  • Map and validate existing business processes;
  • Participate in the design of new systems that support business processes;
  • Review new systems designs and functions;
  • Identify reporting requirements;
  • Identify data interfaces, and tests requirements;
  • Develop and execute systems and acceptance test scripts and procedures;
  • Design training materials;
  • Prepare business cases including cost/benefit analysis for proposed solutions;
  • Contribute to the postmortem analysis following any assigned project completion;
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; and
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
